I get get that track out of my head! I’ve also stuck a bootleg version of “Can’t Stop” by Razorlight in the middle as I can’t stop listening to Pete Tong and Dave Spoon’s cheeky Pacha mix of it.
NinjaGirl - Slut Queen Mix

Spineshaker presents NinjaGirl's latest mix, "Slut Queen". With a reputation for extreme versatility, faultless technical skills and powerful performances this little pocket rocket ignites the dancefloor like no other. She's had over 12 years of experience within the dance music industry and has spent 8 years literally rocking the world performing in over 20 different countries. Locked & loaded with a massive array of residencies under her belt from Sundissential to Hotdog, Golden, Progress, Naughty But Nice, Bubblelove, Afters and many more, she has graced the decks twice at Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, played for Slinky World Tours, Ministry of Sound World Tours and proudly assumed the position at Number Two in Mixmag's Top Ten Breakthrough DJs for 2000. The NinjaGirlMusic brand celebrates the international sound of house. Under my NinjaGirl disguise she specialises in flirty dirty house, percussive funk, electro filth, seductive grooves, tribal monsters & electribaltech (yeah she made that one up but i t kind of describes it). She also loves to get the party started with piano classics, handbag camp & vocal funky house. Spineshaker approves!

HOT MIX ALERT: Spineshaker strongly recommends this mix by DJ Tomi Vega. From the subversive and sultry first track "Downtown" by Peaches, to the electric punk ballad "Down down down" by the Presets, this mix turns down the suck and turns up the cool in a massive statement of electronic angst! DJ Tomi Vega blends genres in a story like fashion, only to crush them with his electro fist. This is an excellent mix that showcases where dj mixes could be heading - Aggressive rock electro mixes that make your jeans just want to bleach and rip themselves into pieces! MSTRKRFT fans will love this! Spineshaker gives this mix lots of stars! Disco is dead! Track listing: 01 Peaches - Downtown (Simian Mobile Disco Remix) * 02 The Presets - Down Down Down (Digitalism Remix) * 03 Justice - Waters of Nazareth (Erol Alkan Remix) * 04 The Gossip - Standing In the Way of Control (Soulwax Edit) * 05 Soulwax - Miserable Girl * 06 Guns'n'Bombs - Nothing is Getting Us Anywhere * 07 Simian Mobile Disco - Hustler * 08 Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin' (Teenage Bad Girl Remix) * 09 Robbie Williams - Rudebox (Riton Remix) * 10 Soulwax - Another Excuse (DFA Remix) * 11 Sneaky Sound Sytem - I Love It (Bag Raiders Dub Mix) * 12 909d1sco - Donnerstag * 13 Van She - Kelly (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke Remix) * 14 Midnight Juggernauts - Shadows *

Solid track selection that includes tunage from the likes of Simian Mobile Disco, Chromeo, Tim Delux, and of course our UK fav's "Audio Bullys".

The eclectic beginning of DJ Anthony Payne's Volume 5 funky house mix only serves to highlight the fluidity and groove of the following tracks. By the time, DJ Mabrax was rocking the monitors, our smoking hot secretary was grinding the edge of the photocopier. Again, DJ Anthony Payne's sex infused funky house mix delivers a titillating message on top of a heavy bass slip mat. The dynamic nature of this mix is what truly pleases - like life, it's the valleys that make the peaks feel so great. This mix will get some serious airplay. Track listing: 1. Whirlpool Productions - From: Disco To Disco * 2. Kelis Feat. Too Short - Bossy * 3. Jamelia - Something About You * 4. Sebastian - Ross Ross Ross * 5. The Prodigy - Girls * 6.

A nice Autumn sounding dj mix with forty minutes of dirty house and disco that includes diverse sounds of disco cowbell, flirting guitar riffs, lazy vocals, and steel drums. Echoey vocals then take us on a journey from the dance floor to heaven and back. If nothing else, this mix is a must listen just for the Hot Chip track "Just LIke We Breakdown" (19 minutes)..."Come around and around just like we breakdown With a fist and a fall we meet with the floor". Great lyrics, awesome music. A very diverse and pleasing mix from DJ Jason Martin.

DJ Dylan Drazen - Equator II Mix

Dylan Drazen is one of America's most well traveled and globally respected techno DJs. He's also a well known producer who plays a lot in Spain and New York. Spineshaker editors have always liked tracks or mixes, that continually threaten to explode, only not to, instead maintaining a level of intensity that really keeps "a lid on things". This is such a mix. Starts at around 78 bpm, and threatens to go off, but doesn't until much later in the mix. This makes for an exciting journey. However, as we hit the LawnChair Generals track..things really pick up, and a good time is sure to be had by all. Towards the end of this mix, we are treated to a Cure sounding guitar riff that really sits well on the rolling house beats. A solid mellow mix. Track listing: Serious Intention - You Don't Know (Joeski Dub) - Maya * Tribalation - Do It To The Music - Big Chief * Dub Monsters - Timewarp - Poodle * Kevin Freeman - Musicinmylife - Low Pressings * Logic Box - Home Car - Visitor * Freaks - I'm An Angry Instrument - Wash House * LawnChair Generals - One Thing - Westbound * J&S Productions - The Lift Part 1 (Lance Desardi rmx) - Court Square * Outta Limits - Mission Control (Montanari & Ruberto rmx) - Azuli * Dr. Pompeii - Wish - 4th Floor * Echomen - Thru 2 You (Nova Scotia rmx) - Hooj * Loudeast - Sonido Profundo (gpal sweet amx rmx) - Shinichi * Loudeast - Sonido Profundo (gpal etheral rmx) - Shinichi * Loudeast - Sonido Profundo (loudeast rmx) - Shinichi *

Ladies and gentlemen, please loose your seats, we have a challenger. That's right, multi discipline house DJ and Producer Jessica Partin (Houston, Texas) has taken the challenge and hits hard with a soaking wet house set that starts rather eerie then folds itself into a nice echoic tribal buzz only to then unashamedly crank into a dirty house track. Michael Jackson remix? Love it! (32 mins). Jessica then closes the doors with some mellow house tracks. Good night, and good job. Jessica tells us that this mix was "my first official promo mix and I recorded it in July 2004. It was inspired by my trip to Berlin that year and featured a conglomeration of tech house, progressive, and techno with long layered mixes." Track List: 01 3rd Face - Canto Della Liberta * 02 Perc - Ice Cream For Kenton * 03 Magik Johnson - Tokyo Track * 04 Murk - Time (Scumfrog mix) * 05 Levan - Cyb Trib * 06 Ty Tek - X Rated * 07 Alex Neri - Club Element * 08 Basic J - The Drums (Mix 2) * 09 Full Intention - This Beat * 10 Reconstruction - Re1: One * 11 Bass & Penn - Dancin' * 12 Ray Rocs Grooves - Back On Track (Problem Kid Intense mix) * 13 Haris - Superdrug (Haris 2 Dem Hot mix)

High quality audio, uber track selection, seamless and fast mixing, DJ NinjaGirl provides it all, and in particular this mix really rocks! With timely vocals, and equally well positioned bass riffs, this NinjaGirl completes her roundhouse knockout with style. No need for "More cow bell!" (19 minutes), this mix packs it all in. DJ NinjaGirl has over eight years of international experience and has played in many places including the UK, America, Asia, Australia, China, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Ibiza, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Majorca, Russia, Singapore and Tenerife. She's played Gatecrasher, Slinky World Tours, Euphoria Live, Sennheiser and Ministry Of Sound World Tours. Quite simply, this is one of the best mixes we've heard at Spineshaker. We give it five stars out of five stars. DJ NinjaGirl has just set the bar really high. Track list coming...
